I've been using this tool for a few weeks now, and it's been a game-changer. The interface is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to get started without a steep learning curve. Cakewalk has a really nice, light-touch UX that allows your team to easily integrate and record their third-party apps as they use them. No need to review and record all of oyur apps in one go, just add them as you go and manage them easily in the central web app. The data is super powerful once you get people using it too! The team are also really friendly and helpful.

Cakewalk has made our processes significantly more precise and efficient by automating our formerly manual access tracking and management. On- and offboardings are now much faster which also improved our operational security.
Their team is very supportive and offers practical advice to ensure we're getting the most out of the platform.

Running infosec, Cakewalk is a game-changer for us. Before Cakewalk, we struggled with access control, it took up too much time and caused a major decrease in efficiency. Never thought managing access could actually be this easy… Product is super simple, easy to use, powerful and reliable. What really surprised me: not only does security like Cakewalk—our CFO/Finance team loves it too (cutting costs!).
To add to all of this, their customer support is second to none, they will take feedback and really use it to enhance their product. I requested a feature as i noticed that you could not use cakewalk in split screen, I raised this with them and they implemented a solution within 2 weeks!
Cakewalk is designed for the modern tech company - it integrates extremely well into Slack, and doesn't force users onto a platform they're not used to just for the sake of recording a user access request. I've been looking for a product like Cakewalk for many years, and after attempting to use a competitor for the past year and failing due to over-complexity it has been a breath of fresh air dealing with the fantastic team developing Cakewalk.

Cakewalk has given us visibility and control where previously we were left in the dark. Having oversight of all the systems our users access is a massive help in our compliance requirements, then being able to provide clear, auditable evidence of any new access goes a long way in audits.
We are a startup company, but we want to manage access in a highly professional manner. Most access management solutions out there are way too complex for us. Love Cakewalk for being super simple while still being very powerful! They built a product that employees actually (!) use, which was key for us. It also helps us greatly in working towards our SOC2 accreditation. Slack integration is great as well!
Simplistic setup and usage while, in general, compliance + infosec tools are clunky (not true for Cakewalk). I also love the autodetection feature.
Really easy to use. A great plugin that helps both the users and the security department. The Cakewalk staff is super helpful! Onboarding and implementation have been a dream!
We feel much more structured now when on- and off-boarding employees; it's much harder to miss any tools or accounts that need setting up or removing.
The team are also super responsive when we have questions or need help.
We're not making the best use of the Slackbot yet so our employees can request access to tooling in a structured way, but I'm excited to try that out, and to see what else Cakewalk have to offer in future!
The implementation and integration are quite easy and done within a few clicks.
Cakewalk is always supporting and hungry for feedback, and support on short notice - no problem. There are constantly new features and they stick to their roadmap.
We use Cakewalk for onboarding/offboarding, managing our tech stack and as part of our ISO certification requirements. Wish we had implemented this earlier even just for the peace of mind/less hassle for the mgmt team. The slack integration even makes it fun :)
Offboarding, a critical aspect of IT security, requires meticulous attention to revoke all access when employees leave. Cakewalk has made this task seamless by providing complete visibility and enabling the automation of offboarding flows.
Cakewalk is a lightweight application that helps our IT team, but also our app owners, with all access requests. It also automates the assignment of users to access groups in Entra ID. Moving the requests to the app owners saves IT a ton of time, but also the app owners them selves, since they arn't in a constant back-and-forth with IT about user access.
We really like the simplicity of the tool and that it lives in our default communication tool, Slack.
If we have any questions or issues we can also reach out to their support through Slack, and we never have to wait long for a reply or fix.
We have recently started using the solution and were impressed with the support and responsiveness during vendor evaluation as well as during implementation. We had the opportunity to test the solution for several days to really make sure it supports our use cases.
Onboard was really straightforward as we could connect directly to Google SSO and the browser extension works well. We have much more insights into employees' tool accesses now than before and can use Cakewalk as single source of truth.
